Power corrections in a transverse-momentum cut for vector-boson production at NNLO: the qg-initiated real-virtual contribution

Abstract We consider the production of a vector boson ( Z , $$W^\pm $$ W ± or $$\gamma ^*$$ ? ? ) at next-to-next-to-leading order in strong coupling constant $$\alpha _\mathrm{S}$$ ? S . impose transverse-momentum cutoff, $$q_{\mathrm{T}}^{\mathrm{cut}}$$ q T cut on produced qg -initiated channel. then compute power corrections up to second power, real-virtual interference contribution cumulative cross section _\mathrm{S}^2$$ 2 Other terms with same kinematics, originating from subtraction method applied double-real contribution, have been also considered. The knowledge such is required ingredient reduce dependence cutoff QCD sections order, when $$q_{\mathrm{T}}$$ -subtraction applied. In addition, study allows as well for an understanding its behaviour small limit, giving hints structure all orders and identification universal patterns.
